The beloved childhood story of Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood is once again on the big screen for people of all ages to enjoy. The great thing about this movie is that it is true to the classic animation films of the past both in style and heart. You will not have to wear 3D glasses or watch a flashy CGI Tigger bounce across the screen and in this age of movie extravagance that is such a welcomed change. The story is simple yet enjoyable and the 69 minute running time for the film is perfect for the target audience of 3-10 year olds. The writers did a great job of weaving the dialogue with the musical numbers. The script has a nice even flow that allows the moviegoer to just sit back and enjoy the film.
While some parents are taking their young children to watch teenage wizards defeat an evil warlord I would suggest you head to Winnie the Pooh instead.
