Important Issues: Peggy is committed to LISTENING, ACTING, and LEADING to renew the commitment to responsible government and give voice to the common sense priorities of the people of Andover and Ham Lake. Her constituents have made it clear that they want government to stop the out of control, unsustainable spending, and more JOBS!
Peggy knows government does not create jobs, but can get out of the way of job creators by loosening the reigns on onerous regulation and high taxation. She believes that rolling back our business tax of 9.8%, 4th highest in the country, must be incrementally rolled back.
Looking ahead, Peggy is dedicated to re-structuring government so that our state’s priorities and responsibilities of public safety, public education, roads and bridges, and veterans can be funded first. She realizes this will not be a painless process, but a necessary one if we are to sustain our state’s future. |
|
|
Political Philosophy: Peggy is a Constitutional Conservative who believes our state and country have strayed from our Constitution. She is committed to a smaller, more limited government that allows for personal freedoms and liberty.
She understands that when government grows, our freedoms are diminished.
